The Requiem by Gabriel Fauré

Conductor Yuval Benozer leads the Israeli Vocal Ensemble in the requiem of French composer Gabriel Fauré. The performance brings to the center the organist Raviv Leibzirer and the symphonic organ in heavenly music, which combines the enveloping and powerful sound of the church organ and the human voices. In the second part of the concert, the special spirit of South American music will come forth in six Native American songs by composer Carlos Guastavino and excerpts by Astor Piazzolla.
